Woohoo!! Your so excited your images are ready and can’t wait to see them! I use a system called PASS to delivery your final photos to you. And while it is an amazing system with beautiful galleries there are lots of options and I know many of my clients haven’t grasped the whole digital delivery concept yet. So I thought I would post a little tutorial.
VIEWING YOUR IMAGES
First of all once your photos are ready you will receive an email from me with a website link. This link (URL) is how you access your gallery. PASS is simply a website that hosts your images for you. So you can use this link to access and view your photos on any device by following the simple instructions.
1) Open your gallery by clicking the link (or in some cases button) in the email you received from me.
2) If prompted, log in to the Guest Book with your email address. This will allow you to mark your favorite images (more on that in a bit).
3) Now you’re ready to start scrolling to see all of your beautiful photos.
4) You can click on any photo to view it larger.
5) Some galleries with many photos (like weddings) will be split into sub-categories. You can jump to any sub-category you like using the menu under the header image. Depending on the number of categories you may need to click More to see them all.
SELECTING YOUR FAVORITE IMAGES
You can mark your favorite images in the gallery by selecting the heart icon. There are a couple of ways you can do this.
1) While viewing the gallery you can hover over the image you want to “favorite”. You’ll see some icons appear along the bottom of the image. You can click the heart.
2) Or you can click on an image to enlarge it. After that click the heart that appears at the bottom of the image.
DOWNLOADING YOUR PHOTOS
1) Click the download icon (downward arrow) at the top right corner of the gallery just under the header image.
2) After that you have 3 options.
- Multiple Selection: This will allow you to select which photos you would like to download. This is helpful if you would like to only download all of your favorites.
- Download Full Gallery – Web-Size: This will allow you to download all of the photos in the gallery at once in a smaller size. This is good for blogging or sharing online.
- Download Full Gallery – High-Res: This will allow you to download all of the photos in the gallery at once in their full size.
I recommend always using the High-Res option to ensure you have the best photo quality available.
3) Now select whether you would like to save you download to your computer or Dropbox.
4) Click on the .zip file to download it.
5) Once the .zip file is finished downloading to your computer be sure to open it and select Extract All. This will save all of the photos from you gallery to your computer.
DOWNLOADING IMAGES ONE AT A TIME
1) Hover over the image you wish to download.
2) Click the download icon that appears at the bottom of the image. (This will add the image to the download que).
3) If you would like to download more images continue clicking the download icon on all of the images you want.
ORDERING PRINTS AND PRODUCTS
One of the best parts of PASS is it allows you to order professional-grade prints and products directly from your gallery. No more downloading just to re-upload to another site! These prints or products will be produced by a professional print shop and shipped directly to your doorstep!
Ordering Prints and Products is so easy!
1) Hover over or click on the image you want to print and click Buy in the bottom right corner of the image.
2) Now select the products or prints you want of the image.
3) Enter the quantity you want to order.
4) Click “Add to Cart”.
5) Once you have chosen all the pictures you want to print, click the shopping cart in the top right hand corner of the gallery. There will be a number next to it indicating how many products you are ordering.
6) Edit your address if it is not already there.
7) Click Place your Order.
8) Enter payment information.
